Job Description – Business Analyst (Insurance Operations & MIS)

Position Title: Business Analyst – MIS & Strategy Support

Department: Business Strategy / Operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and release various business MIS reports for management review.
• Generate and maintain Overall Business Login Reports on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
• Track and analyze RM Target vs Login & Issuance performance reports.
• Prepare Renewal and Persistency MIS reports with detailed analysis.
• Manage and publish Contest Scoreboards on a daily basis.
• Track Brokerage Receivable vs Collection MIS and highlight gaps or outstanding areas.
• Develop and generate new reports and dashboards as requested by Directors and Strategy Heads.
• Analyze business data to identify trends, productivity gaps, and operational improvements.
• Coordinate with different departments to collect and validate business data.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management stakeholders.
• Maintain data accuracy, reporting consistency, and MIS documentation.

Required Skills:

• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and dashboards.
• Good understanding of insurance business operations and sales reporting.
• Ability to handle large data sets with accuracy.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of MIS automation tools will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience:

• 2–5 years of experience in MIS, Business Analysis, or Insurance Operations.
• Experience in insurance brokerage or financial services industry preferred.
