Job Description – Business Analyst (Insurance Operations & MIS)
Position Title: Business Analyst – MIS & Strategy Support
Department: Business Strategy / Operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and release various business MIS reports for management review.
- Generate and maintain Overall Business Login Reports on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Track and analyze RM Target vs Login & Issuance performance reports.
- Prepare Renewal and Persistency MIS reports with detailed analysis.
- Manage and publish Contest Scoreboards on a daily basis.
- Track Brokerage Receivable vs Collection MIS and highlight gaps or outstanding areas.
- Develop and generate new reports and dashboards as requested by Directors and Strategy Heads.
- Analyze business data to identify trends, productivity gaps, and operational improvements.
- Coordinate with different departments to collect and validate business data.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management stakeholders.
- Maintain data accuracy, reporting consistency, and MIS documentation.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and dashboards.
- Good understanding of insurance business operations and sales reporting.
- Ability to handle large data sets with accuracy.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of MIS automation tools will be an added advantage.
Preferred Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in MIS, Business Analysis, or Insurance Operations.
- Experience in insurance brokerage or financial services industry preferred.
