Job Description
The Export Trader will be responsible for developing and managing international trade for peanuts, spices, and other agro commodities. The role involves market analysis, customer acquisition, sales negotiations, and driving export volumes through strong market connect and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new international customers and maintain strong relationships with existing buyers.
- Handle end-to-end export trading activities for peanuts, spices, pulses, and other commodities.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify global demand, trends, and opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts, prices, and trade terms to maximize profitability.
- Coordinate with supply chain, documentation, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of contracts.
- Attend international trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer visits to expand business network.
- Monitor international commodity market trends (pricing, logistics, demand-supply, currency fluctuations).
- Prepare sales forecasts and reports for management.
