Position: Power BI Developer

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain impactful business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will transform complex data into meaningful insights while ensuring performance, scalability, and governance best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports following industry best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical BI solutions
- Create, manage, and optimize data models, relationships, and measures
- Integrate Power BI with multiple data sources including SQL Server, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms
- Perform data transformation and cleansing using Power Query (M)
- Ensure performance optimization and scalability of reports and datasets
- Schedule and manage data refreshes, monitoring Power BI Service performance
- Maintain technical documentation and adhere to BI governance standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (Desktop & Service)
- Excellent knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation
- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
- Experience with data warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
- Knowledge of Power BI security, gateways, and deployment pipelines
- Ability to analyze business needs and deliver effective BI solutions
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards
