Job Description

Role Purpose

The Branch Manager will be responsible for driving business growth through the agency channel by recruiting, managing, and developing a high-performing team while expanding both General Insurance (GI) and Life Insurance portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Drive branch sales targets for GI & Life Insurance products.
  • Develop strategies to increase agency channel productivity and market penetration.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand distribution networks.

Team Recruitment & Management

  • Recruit, onboard, and develop a strong team of Agency Managers / Advisors.
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team.
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching to achieve targets.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, partners, and insurers.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Operational & Strategic Leadership

  • Oversee branch operations and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Track business performance and submit regular MIS reports.
  • Implement sales initiatives and growth strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate (MBA preferred).
  • 6+ years' experience in Insurance Agency Channel.
  • Strong expertise in General Insurance & Life Insurance products.
  • Proven experience in team recruitment and leadership.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
