Job Description

Post - Lab Technician cum Qc Executive 

Location -Dholka- Ahmedabad


Key Responsibilities


  • Quality Testing: Conduct routine and advanced testing of peanuts, peanut butter, and related nut/oilseed products for physical, chemical, and microbiological parameters.


  • Chemical Analysis: Perform aflatoxin detection, moisture content, oil content, peroxide value, and protein analysis to ensure product safety and nutritional accuracy.


  • Certification Compliance: Ensure products meet FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, and other relevant certification standards across peanuts and similar nut/oilseed categories.


  • Process Audits: Perform in-process checks during production to maintain consistency and prevent contamination.


  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of test results, certifications, and corrective actions.


  • Supplier Quality: Evaluate raw peanut and nut/oilseed suppliers for quality assurance and compliance.


  • Training: Train production staff on hygiene, safety, and quality protocols.


  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce defects.


Required Skills & Competencies


  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards (ISO 22000, HACCP, FSSAI).


  • Hands-on experience in peanut and peanut butter testing (aflatoxin, moisture, sensory evaluation).


  • Familiarity with QA/QC tools (SPC, root cause analysis, CAPA).


  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills.


  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams (production, R&D, supply chain).


  • Transferable expertise from tree nuts, oilseeds, nut-based spreads, legumes, or nut confectionery.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field.


  • 3–4 years of experience in QA/QC within peanut, peanut butter, or similar nut/oilseed industries.


  • Certification in food safety or quality management systems preferred.
